How we agree to interact with one another:

  1. Assume the best about each others’ actions, motives, and words.
  2. Be open with each other and be free to bring up opposing views. Be understanding when others’ views do not match our own. Be ready to walk hand in hand even when we don’t see eye to eye.
  3. Consider how membership is an honor not a privilege.
  4. Diligently and to the best of our ability learn and understand God’s Word and use It as our guide in leadership and life.
  5. Envelop Bridges in prayer, by praying for each other, for our members and our attenders, and by praying our weekly prayer requests. Prayerfully ask God for clarity and wisdom for what is best for Bridges.
  6. Forge Christ-centered friendships with all who attend, especially with those who are new to Bridges.
  7. Gird ourselves to be inconvenienced for the Gospel and be ready to get out of our comfort zone to better realize the full scope of God’s calling for us as a local Church.
  8. Help one another to love God and love others! Matt. 22:37-40.
Love God, Love people, Serve the world

Our Vision

To grow a healthy, missional, come-as-you-are church where the un-churched and de-churched are welcomed and can meet Jesus and grow in a relationship with Him.

About Bridges Covenant Church

Who We Are

Bridges is a proud member of the Evangelical Covenant Church.  In an effort to have a conversation about a life of faith, the Covenant church has come up with some affirmations. These affirmations guide us.  We have found that affirmations offer a great opportunity for discussion and community.

We affirm the centrality of the word of God.
We affirm the necessity of the new birth.
We affirm a commitment to the whole mission of the church.
We affirm the church as a fellowship of believers.
We affirm a conscious dependence on the Holy Spirit.
We affirm the reality of freedom in Christ.

We invite you to join the discussion, investigate the reality of a life of faith, and join us on Sunday mornings @ 10:00!
